Devotional Lyrics Library is a worship centric mobile application focusing mainly on easily accessing lyrics of Christian devotional songs in primarily all Indian languages. It keeps you updated with the latest Christian songs and enables you to search content from its rich database.
We were a group of friends and family who used to get together frequently for worshipping and praising the Lord Almighty. During our worship, as there was a scarcity of hymn books, we used to click pictures and share it via whatsapp group. We realized that this problem is not just limited to our group and language. This was a universal problem for worshipers. God provided us with a vision to create a single platform where any one can access christian worship songs and hymns in any language.
After praying over it for a while, God led us to form a small team to start working towards developing this mobile application. Finally, after three months of brainstorming and hard work we released our android app on 21st December 2018. Since then God has blessed our team in abundance, as a result of which our team has now grown to thirty members, who are working voluntarily to contribute towards enhancing this app.
Our search widget can accept queries in any language. You can enable Gboard typing in the language of your choice by searching and adding keyboards inside "Language & Input" settings in your Android device.
Apart from the song title search, you can also try to search for keywords. For example, you may search for the keyword "Love" or "Grace" and you will get back a list of all songs which have these keywords in the lyrics.
Some users may not know how to read the script of a language but can understand the language. In order to enable such users to sing songs, we have the English transliteration of every Indian language song.
You may save your favourite songs which you sing frequently so that you can access them even if you do not have internet. If you prefer putting your phone on aeroplane mode during worship, you will find this feature very handy.
Most of the songs have the credit information like writer, composer, album and release year. You may help us to rectify missing and incorrect information.
We will also be introducing report feature soon. You can help us make our database richer and error free by using this feature.

Our mission is to help every believer in worshiping the Almighty in spirit and truth. We strive to make this app an integral part of every believer’s spiritual journey. We also intend to preserve all christian hymns and worship songs across all languages which are on the verge of extinction.
